International House Milan celebrated the European Day of Languages by holding an educational development conference – ‘From good practice to better practice’ – at San Donato. The event, aimed at state school language teachers, was a great success.

The 2008 ALPHE Workshop was attended by the largest group of IH schools so far. The IH schools were grouped together in the IH Village which was ablaze with our colourful balloons and sashes. Two days of very productive meetings were followed by a party for the Agents and IH schools which was very generously hosted by IH London!

The 2008 IH Young Learners Conference will be held in La Spezia from November 20 to November 22. 

We are looking forward to a varied programme consisting of both internal and external speakers. The conference will be held in a beautiful location on the eastern coast of Italy and of course there will be time to sample some Italian culture!
