Affiliating your school to the International House World Organisation means subscribing to the philosophy and standards shared by IH schools worldwide.

IH Affiliation Process Steps

How does a school affiliate to IHWO?

1 - Enquiry

The first step is to get in touch and ask for the Information Pack for Prospective Affiliates, which includes an application form. This explains what affiliation is, what your commitment entails, and the criteria for approving affiliation.

2 - Application

The application pack explains what is involved in the affiliation process and how to proceed. The completed Application goes direct to the IHWO Management Committee, which is made up of representatives of the affiliated schools

Affiliated schools worldwide are informed when a new school wishes to join, so that they can provide input to the selection process.

3 - Pre-affiliation inspection visit

4 - Decision

The IHWO Management Committee studies the application and the inspection visit report, and decides whether to approve the application.

5 - Timescale

The entire process, from application to decision, normally takes 2- 3 months.
