The School

The school

International House Tallinn opened in 1993 and has now become one of the most highly rated language schools in Estonia. The school is recognized by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Science.

There are around 300 students (the majority of them studying General and Business English). A significant part of our clients are different governmental and business institutions who choose to study in groups, in-company or one-to-one. We offer a highly personal and flexible service; this guarantees security in your choice of learning and helps you benefit from the study programme that best fits your precise needs.

In addition to our main activity of organising language courses, International House Tallinn also participates in various international projects to do with the teaching and learning of less widely used languages. Being located in Estonia, International House Tallinn is promoting the Estonian language. These projects are meant to encourage the general public to learn less widely used European languages, provide information about new and already existing best practices and opportunities to learn them (EU projects 'Euro-Languages Net' (www.euro-languages.net) and 'e-Euro Inclusion') as well as, for example, develop Estonian language training and reference materials for peacekeepers (EU project 'Linguapeace Europe').
