Founded in 1972, International House Barcelona is one of the longest established and most successful language schools in Spain.
The school occupies six floors of an elegant Barcelona town house located
in the very centre of the city, less than five minutes walk from the Plaza
Catalunya, the city's main square.
The building dates from the end of the 19th Century and has a distinctive
triangular shape. It has a large decorative entrance, high ceilings, a marble
staircase and plenty of natural light. It also has over 40 air-conditioned
classrooms, a library and study room and an Internet access
room, which is open all day and free for registered students. We also have
a 'typically Spanish' bar (with terrace) in the school which serves a wide
range of hot and cold food and drink throughout the day.
