Leaving from the "Termini" train station we will
pass through Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale to Traforo
Umberto. Here we will leave the bus and walk to Trevi Fountain,
the Galleria Colonna over Via del Corso (the shopping street
of Rome) until we reach Piazza Colonna where we will stop to
have a coffee break inside the Tempio Adriano (offered by the
Regional Union Chamber of Commerce/ Rome Chamber of Commerce).
Afterwards we will continue our walk to the Pantheon, Piazza
Madama and of course to one the most beautiful squares in the
world: Piazza Navona. We will then go back to the bus and return
to the hotel passing along the river Tevere, Muro Torto, Villa
Borghese and Via Veneto and back to Piazza della Repubblica.
Welcome speech by a representative of the Roman Commune at
the Campidoglio (the City Council) followed by a short visit
of the Musei Capitolini and a dinner on the terrace of the Vittoriano (an impressive example
of "Umbertian" style architecture built to commemorate
the first king of Italy Vittorio Emanuele II di Savoia and informally
called “the typewriter”). As the Vittoriano is usually not open
for events of this kind this will be a unique opportunity to
visit this monument.

We will see the Valle del Colosseum, the Foro Romano and San Pietro in
Vincoli (Mosč di Michelangelo).
Ostia used to be Rome's harbour for centuries and is still
the city’s main access to the sea.
the archaeological park is one of the most important historic
areas in the world. From here the Romans, during the glories
of "Roma caput mundi", used to leave to conquer the
regions along the Mediterranean Sea, but also the place from
where they received provisions for the city. This site is one
the most visited museums in Italy.(source: Comune di Roma)
After the visit to the ruins we
will go to the port and go on a beautiful boat trip on the river
Tevere until the new Port of Ostia where the bus will be waiting.
We will then visit the nearby football school "Francesco
Totti" and the Country Club Castelfusano located in the
wonderful centuries-old pine woods where we organise our summer
programmes.

castle used to be an old hunting lodge. Today they still live
in the castle and host our summer school on the area around
the castle.
After lunch: transfer to the airport
