Transfer 2008
Already working for IH?
In addition to the recruitment and selection of teachers for the
Affiliate Network, Recruitment Services manages an annual Transfer
System, which provides an opportunity for teachers employed within
the network to work for another IH school at the end of their teaching
contract.
Being part of the IH network provides teachers with excellent
opportunities for personal and professional development and career
progression.
Transfer 2008 Dates
Transfer will take place in April 2008. The Transfer Vacancy List will appear in the Affiliates' Area of the website on Monday 7th April 2008 – 2 pm UK time.
The deadline for Transfer Applications and PDIs will be till Monday 28th April.
If you would like to transfer you will be able to access all the documentation and instructions required in the Affiliates' Area of the website from early April 2008.

Looking for a teaching position?
We recruit the following types of staff for IH schools:
- Teachers of General English (adolescents and adults)
- Teachers of General English to Younger Learners
- Teachers of Business English (including one-to-one and off-site
courses)
- Directors of Studies (and ADOS)
- Teacher Trainer

Qualifications
Please note: The minimum requirement for teachers in IH is the CELTA, Trinity TESOL, IHCTL or equivalent initial qualification. If you are not yet qualified, please contact one of our Teacher Training Centres to learn more about courses.

Background
Based in London, IH Recruitment Services receives approximately
four hundred requests for teachers and senior staff for IH schools
each year. Although recruitment is a year-round exercise, the majority
of recruitment takes place between May and August for the academic
year starting in September or October. We also often have vacancies starting in January.

Interviews - NEW!
We recruit teachers from all over the world, and not only from the
UK. If you can't get to London for an interview, then you can be interviewed
at one of the IH schools worldwide designated as an Interview Centre.
