The City

IH Nicosia is the foremost English language school in North Cyprus, located in the heart of Nicosia. Summer programmes take place in Kyrenia in our "English Village" - a three star holiday complex with classrooms and educational facilities.

THE COUNTRY

North Cyprus is an excellent destination for learners of English who do not wish to travel to England or the United States. The climate is hot in summer and mild in winter, and sea temperature peaks at 28 degrees centigrade, and the natural beauty of island can be quite breathtaking. All kinds of watersports are available from scuba diving to sailing, the main holiday centre, Kyrenia has a wide selection of restaurants, discos and concert venues.
English is widely spoken by Cypriots and is the lingua franca of the large international community resident here all year round. Nicosia Language Centre offers packages of intensive language tuition and a range of activities from horse riding to archaeology field trips- all conducted in English.

• English for specific purposes (law, political science - special package of lessons, seminars and talks, 20 hours per week)
• IELTS/TOEFL preparation (20 hours per week)
• English and holiday/sports package
• One to one lessons: 28 Euros per hour
• Young learners (14 years to 17): English and holiday/sports package: 680 Euros per two weeks

Accommodation

IH Nicosia provides accommodation in an attractive 3 star "English village" with indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, tennis court and other sporting facilities. Accommodation is full board.
